*New mix alert* What up y'all. I got thinkin earlier this year there really hasn't been a Outlawz / Mafia mix ever made, I should try and tackle that. I did and wasn't happy with the results. Deleted all the files. Then, the week before the Pac trial started I got thinking about attempting it again. I can say I'm more than happy with it now.  It's 2pac/Outlawz back-n-forth w/ Biggie/Junior M.A.F.I.A. tracks. Mostly b sides and remixes and if it was a popular song (like "Hit 'em Up") I used an alternate version to try and make it mostly exclusive. Hopefully you guys enjoy it too.

2001 had to have the highest volume of albums that didn't end up dropping. So many advances came out and the real album never dropped. This here is the would-be sophomore album by mixtape legend Royal Flush. "Angel Dust" and "Street Bitch" were both later used by Sean Price. "Iced Down Medallions (Pt. 2)" has been featured on numerous J-Love mixes.

Sandman shared this absolute banger earlier this summer, I'm just posting it here by request so it's permanent. My crew had the CD in '99 so I was real happy to finally get a rip of the tape. We were so hyped because this was the first Dr. Dre stuff to leak from the 2001 album that came out wayyy later in the year. "The Way I Be Pimpin'" was a Dre solo joint on here that became the posse cut "Xxxplosive" on 2001 (with no Dre verses). An early version of "What's The Difference" also shows up exclusively on here with Hittman instead of Xzibit who popped up on the version on 2001. -mikalkup

Back when there were only a handful of West Coast DJ's doing mixtapes, DJ Warrior & The Cali Untouchable DJ's (September 7th, DJ Hideo, DJ Strong) held it down for the Left Coast. The Cali Untouchable Radio series was a great showcase for not only West Coast acts but also showed love to the East & down South. (Missing are Parts 1, 2, 9 & 15. Here's the CD rip with an extra track added of the cassette tracks I cut out from the tape rip. 90 Mins from Summer '97, the beginning of one of the finest stretches in commercial Hip-Hop.

Not really what you'd call a soundtrack but as the title suggests this is music inspired by the film. Shoulda been a mixtape. Keeping it 100...this "Film" didn't "Inspire" anybody or anything. To be fair, if you never had the chance to see this Hood Classic it's worth the hour & ½. There are laughs to be had. (The trailer can be viewed on Youtube) With that out of the way. I'm sure Prodigy must have collected a couple checks to have attached his name to this. Outta 10 tracks what you get is 2 forgettable P feature verses, 5 Sam Scarfo tracks, a random Bone Crusher appearance & few other artists songs. (Rebecca Rossi, Killa Black, Ja$$ & Ernie Gaines) Don't get it confused though, Scarfo has some good stuff on this. The standout of this project is actually singer Ernie Gaines. If you collect P's work here's a couple of tracks to add to your collection. (This is for Promotional Use Only! & I've never seen this being sold anywhere. CD's or Digitally. There is no Parental Advisory stamp)

Back before me and Chew established a relationship, I used to send my mixtapes in for him to review. Now, if anyone knew how Chew got down on mixtape reviews, they knew he was not co-signing anything wack. Fortunately, he thought my Block Muzik series was dope and called me "the best East Coast DJ that heads were sleeping on." I always appreciated him for that.
