Cutmaster C - Welcome To D-Block

There isn't many that can fuck with mixtape D-Block. Every week they were on somebodies tape dropping new heat. Cutmaster C put together 5 discs in this series and if the demand is there I will post the rest.

Cutmaster C - 2 Glock 9's (2000)

I can't find any info on this one but it has a Iman Thug freestyle I never heard with a lot of mainstream joints from 2000.

DJ Q-Bert - Demolition Pumpkin Squeeze Musik (a Preskool Break Mix) (1994) (2003 CD Reissue) (FLAC)

DJ Q-Bert - 1994 - Demolition Pumpkin Squeeze Musik (a Preskool Break Mix) - FLAC

For those that aren't familiar. Richard Quitevis better known as DJ Q-Bert was (Disco Mix Club) DMC United states champ in '91 & DMC World Champ on '92 & '93. He was later asked to stop from competing in said events due to it discouraging other artists from entering. While residing in NY was once a member of the Rock Steady DJ's. He would later help found The Shadow Of The Prophet which would later become The Invisibl Skratch Piklz along with Mixmaster Mike & DJ Apollo. The group were founding members of the Turntabalism sound in the 90's. This is his first solo mixtape & it doesn't disappoint. No other artists songs, just Q-Bert mixing & scratching breaks.

First off, Big Thanks to Ra in the CBox for sharing this!

I took the time to raise the volume, cut the silence at the beginning & end of each track, removed the background noise & tagged everything.

Great selection of tracks plus a Nature exclusive.

Mikalkup - Sauce Money Roc-A-Fella Era

Ive been wanting to put together something focusing on Sauce Money's Roc days for a while. 96-99 he recorded a lot of stuff for them but a Rocafella album never came out. Nothing from his album or Kay Slay "Best Of" mixtape. Nothing from Clue tapes cuz we all got that.

DJ Kay Slay - Black Market Militia Megamix

For those unfamiliar, Black Market Militia was a group consisting of Tragedy Khadafi, Hell Razah, Killah Priest, Timbo King & William Cooper. This mixtape came with the purchase of the album from Sandbox Automatic. If you enjoy dark New York hip hop then this is for you.

DJ Whoo Kid & Tego Calderon - Guasa Guasa

A little Reggaetone flavor by request. I can't really speak on it since it's not something I am familiar with. Enjoy it none the less.

Necro & Ill Bill - Street Villains Vol. 2

This one, where do I begin. Had me so hopeful for the future of the Uncle Howie crew. Little did we know, the end was approaching. This is the original full version. Streaming services cut out 5 tracks for clearance issues. Probably my most listened to mixtape of the 2000s.

Vinnie Paz - Before The Assassin

Mikalkup is taking us down a path I didn't see coming. First with Non Phixion and now with Necro & Ill Bill. I'll throw this Vinnie Paz mixtape out there for you. Funny thing with Paz is it seems you either love him or you hate him. I personally enjoy a lot of his work. He will never be considered a top tier lyricist but he has a lot of entertainment value.

DJ J- Love - Mobb Misses Parts 1-8

For the life of me I cannot remember who I got these from. If you put this together drop a comment so I can properly credit you. This seems to get requested quite frequently so I figured I would just post it here. A great collection of cuts that didn't make their albums due to various reasons including sample clearances.

DJ Clue - Desert Storm '98 Cluenino ***Exclusive Rip***

John Blaze, Banned From TV & Shut Em Down Remix on one tape. Posse cuts were different back then. There's so much to like about this one. For me it's the 2 Cormega tracks. This another exclusive rip for Put It On.

-MJ-

Desert Storm '98 - Cluenino (My Rip)

DJ Clue - CLueManatti - The Clue World Order ***Exclusive Rip***

I loved this tape. How was Herb McGruff not a bigger star? If I had to choose I would take Side B. My Crew by Lost Boyz, A+ & Canibus is a slept on classic. This rip is exclusive to Put It On.

-MJ-

ClueManatti - The Clue World Order (My Rip)

Doo Wop - The War Report (2001)

I was in Manhattan yesterday and walking the streets this popped up in my head. Post 9-11 NYC was unforgettable.

DJ Iroc - Fat Joe's Half Time ***Exclusive Rip***

I don't know if this was my first time hearing Pun but it was definitely my first memories of him. This tape was dropped to promote Fat Joe's clothing and mixtape store that shares a name with this tape. It has some exclusive freestyles. This rip version is exclusive to Put It On.

-MJ-

Fat Joe 560 Half Time (My Rip)

DJ Lazy K - Call It What You Want ***Exclusive Rip***

Another rip out of my collection from my girl Lazy K. This one floats between hardcore, underground & R&B fairly smoothly. Give it a listen and drop your thoughts.

Call It Watcha Want (My Rip)

DJ Lazy K - Butta Mixin Rican Part 2 ***Exclusive Rip***

It's been a crazy week for me and I didn't post nearly as much as I would've liked to. I'm going to try to make up for it today. I've got a couple of rips from my girl Lazy K. One of the first female DJ's to make moves in the mixtape game. She absolutely holds her own. Salute Karina Toliver!

Butta Mixin Rican Part 2 (My Rip)

DJ Kay Slay - Streetsweeper Part 5

Part 5 was also requested by Lou.

-MJ-

Street Sweepers Part 5

DJ Kay Slay - Streetsweepers Part 7 Double Trouble

Special request for Lou. If you haven't explored the Drama King's catalog then you should. It's deep. Not many people in the industry had the respect that Kay Slay did. That respect got him many exclusives over the years.

-MJ-

Street Sweepers Part 7 - Double Trouble (1999)

The Bash Brothers Presents 50 Cent - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (2005)

Absolutely loved Trackmasters era 50. This is all Trackmasters/JMJ stuff that mostly predated Power of the Dollar in 1999.

Another one to fulfill request. Again not much I can say but I know DJ Rukiz, who is less known, did a lot of artist compilations and this one got a catchy name at least lol

DJ Rated R - Dedication ***Exclusive Rip***

You may not know that Desert Storm's Rated R is the cousin of DJ Clue? His raspy voice is very distinguishable. There is nothing crazy about this joint but it a solid tape start to finish. This was ripped from my original cassette and is exclusive to Put It On.

DJ EV - Hotter This Year Winter '96 ***Exclusive Rip***

Admittedly I do not know much about DJ EV other than he was one of the Big Dawg Pitbulls at one point. He didn't release a ton of tapes from what I can tell. This tape, however, is a masterpiece. If you never gave this a listen because you never heard of him then you shorted yourself. This is my own rip exclusive to Put It On.

Ron G. - The Outlaw Pt. 1 (2001)

Ron G. - The Out Law Pt. 1 (2001)

Harlem's mix King - "Ron G." mix CD from early 2001. Love the classic Prodigy diss to Roc-a-fella and the intro he lays to Kool G. Rap's "Da Streets".

Lazy K does her thing Blends, Cuts & a nice selection of tracks!

Other than Karina getting a little attention, nothing was ever a problem between the two.

Lazy K can explain it better than I can:
