DJ Blazita: Sex & The City Pt. 2 - Anytime, Any Place

Here's a mixtape favorite of mine by none other than DJ Blazita. She personally gave my wife a few copies of her mixtapes while we were all at the 2008 Mixtape Awards. That was the first time I met her in person, although we were already rocking with each other on the Rap Mullet forums, out of mutual respect as fellow DJs. Blazita was very talented and cool as hell, but unfortunately, she passed away several years ago. This is one of those mixes you can just throw on and ride out to. R.I.P. DJ Blazita.

Mikalkup - Capone-N-Noreaga Preview (EP)

Bundle of 5 tracks that were a preview of what was to come from CNN. The Asanté track features Capone and Tragedy in '95 (Damn!) and was mentioned heavily in the unsigned hype column. Prince Powerule features NORE on the rough Stretch Armstrong remix to "Well Connected". Another Queens unsigned hype alumni Shorty Wreck featured Capone on this rough demo "Hold It Down". It plays like a back-and-forth between him and his girl as he is being sent upstate. Under Water Part II features among others, NORE and Doo Wop in the first of their collabos. Lastly thrown in is the '97 Marley Marl Remix of Bobby Brown's "Feelin' Inside" featuring Tragedy and Mic Geronimo. I made this last year but wanted to share, I love this sequence of early CNN.
