Not really what you'd call a soundtrack but as the title suggests this is music inspired by the film. Shoulda been a mixtape. Keeping it 100...this "Film" didn't "Inspire" anybody or anything. To be fair, if you never had the chance to see this Hood Classic it's worth the hour & ½. There are laughs to be had. (The trailer can be viewed on Youtube) With that out of the way. I'm sure Prodigy must have collected a couple checks to have attached his name to this. Outta 10 tracks what you get is 2 forgettable P feature verses, 5 Sam Scarfo tracks, a random Bone Crusher appearance & few other artists songs. (Rebecca Rossi, Killa Black, Ja$$ & Ernie Gaines) Don't get it confused though, Scarfo has some good stuff on this. The standout of this project is actually singer Ernie Gaines. If you collect P's work here's a couple of tracks to add to your collection. (This is for Promotional Use Only! & I've never seen this being sold anywhere. CD's or Digitally. There is no Parental Advisory stamp)

Kurupt - Against The Grain - The EP (2007)
I'm gonna stay giving love to the west. With one of my favorite rappers Kurupt dropping his first Death Row solo project in 20 years I'm reminded of his previous album. This is an EP of unreleased songs that didn't make that album and might hold up better than the retail.

This was the second and last volume of the limited edition series that was exclusive to the Rap Mullet website. Back before me and Chew established a relationship, I used to send my mixtapes in for him to review. Now, if anyone knew how Chew got down on mixtape reviews, they knew he was not co-signing anything wack. Fortunately, he thought my Block Muzik series was dope and called me "the best East Coast DJ that heads were sleeping on." I always appreciated him for that.

Wiz Khalifa - Prince Of The City 2
Wiz's second mixtape, which dropped in fall of 2007. As I said in my previous post, I have a random story about him and his manager. Back in the Myspace days I connected with his manager and he used to send me Wiz's music. My wife got cool with Wiz's mom on Myspace, and they used to chop it up daily. He was one of the artists I could always go to and he'd come thru for me on my mixtapes. Enjoy this FLAC rip!
