A DJ Juice classic. The king of the intro was known for his originality. Juice tapes just sounded different from what everyone was putting out.
This blog will never be entirely dedicated to rare tapes. It will always feature good mixtapes rare or common. If you are a fan of blend tapes then this is for you. Bigg Premiere blends tracks seamlessly start to finish.
Part 2 Of DJ Keyz Inventing The Remix Series showcased Nas. This is 70+ minutes of quality Nas guest appearances.

Here's a great tape by Uptown's Own DJ Craig G. This tape is known by two different titles. It's the sequel to Niggas Don't Give A Fuck with DJ S&S but was also sold as Independence Day.
In 95-96 Puff enlisted some of the hottest mixtape DJ's to put out a series of mixtapes. These aren't hard to find but they are classics of era. The DJ's are Clue?, Doo Wop, Stretch Armstrong & DJ S&S. Vol. 4 was released around the time of Hit 'Em Up and features Puff talking shit over the track.
Old Joe is arguably one of the best mixtape artists. His freestyles were often the highlight of any mixtape. His abrasive personality makes him not for everyone though. Here is a mixtape of early material.
This series was from the height of the Shady Records vs. Murder Inc beef. Part 2 also contains the D-Block classic 2 Gunz Up.
Doo Wop consistently put out quality tapes. Not a rare tape but one of my favorite tapes of all-time.
Dirty Harry is in a league of his own when it comes to mixtapes. His creativity remains unmatched in my opinion. In this post I give you this classic from 1996. Enjoy!
