Big Dawg Volume Two is highlighted (for me at least) by I'll Be Around by Rah Sun & Big Pun. DJ Ev didn't put out a ton of tapes and admittedly I don't know a lot about him. His best known tape is Hotter This Year 96.

I apologize for slowing up a bit with the posts. Life has been hectic while gearing up for the holidays. DJ Camilo is another one of my favorite DJ's and Tape 12 is packed with 1995 Hip Hop gold. Tracks like I Love You Remix, Death Be The Penalty & Danger are a few of the many classics that fill this tracklist.

Here is my own rip of Cutmaster C's It's So Hot Baby. I think it's clearer than what's been floating around. In the upcoming weeks I will be going through my box of tapes and ripping them. The goal is to try and provide better quality rips for existing tapes and I may post some things that have never been ripped in the past. Stay tuned.

This one features an early unmixed version of Biggie's My Downfall. I don't think the cover has been widely shared so I took a picture of my tape in case anyone needed the cover. Over the next few days I will try to provide a better rip of this tape for you guys.

Cutmaster C is primarily known for his hip hop tapes. This R&B joint is from 2000 and is loaded with great tracks.

Some early Clue tapes! Plenty of Blends. In the beginning Scarecrow & Big Splash were frequent contributors on many of his tapes.
(I removed the background noise on all 3 of these.)

This shit right here is one of the craziest mixtapes ever. You had 5 top notch DJ's join forces to create this masterpiece. You get everything on here. Hip Hop, Freestyles & R&B mixed masterfully by some of the best in the game.

One of the more common tapes you'll see me post but this one holds a special place in my heart. I bought mixtapes prior to this but this was the one the got me hooked. I can't even estimate the amount of times I have listened to this tape. Pure Golden Age New York hip hop at it's finest.

Another great mixtape DJ out of Queens. DJ Absolut started as an intern for Stress magazine. He now puts in work as a producer. Someone out there asked for more R&B. Here is one for you.
